The Legacy Stage brings
alive the legacy of Aaron Douglas in a lively, engaging and interactive format.
This stage provides the opportunity to showcase acoustic art forms,
including but not limited to readings, theater, dance, acoustic music and more.
The stage will be in the vicinity of the Aaron Douglas mural.
Entry Guidelines
All performers, whether individual or group, must
submit at least one example of your work/performance e.g. vocal, poetry, drama,
instrumental. This could be submitted through an electronic file, YouTube video,
link to a blog, etc. As long as we
can get a good idea of what you would perform the day of fair.
All Legacy Stage performances need to be limited to 15 minutes.
Please remember this is family friendly fair.

Set Up/Check-In
Performers need to
check-in with the Legacy Stage coordinator 30 minutes prior to your performance
time. You will have the final
performance schedule no later than September 1, 2011.
The Aaron Douglas Art Fair will provide 1 microphone, 1 speaker and 1 CD
player. Any additional equipment
you may need is the responsibility of the performer and/or group. In case of
inclement weather a tent will be available for the performances.
Deadline/Submission
The entry form must be received by midnight July 27,
2012. Notification of acceptance
will occur through email no later than August 3, 2012. Submit entry form and
